When you click the XRoolUP toolbar icon on an X article or long post, the extension reads the loaded article content, title, author name or handle, source URL, code blocks, formatting, image URLs and available video URLs. It also processes the archive title and format options you choose. This may include personal information present in the article. The extension does not monitor your general browsing history or run a background crawler. It does not read passwords, authentication cookies, private messages, payment details or unrelated tabs as a separate function.
This information is used only to preview and export the article you selected as PDF, Markdown or TXT with available media in a ZIP archive. Text, conversion and ZIP generation are processed on your device. No article content, source URLs, browsing history or usage analytics are sent to the developer or an archive backend. There are no advertisements, analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or sale of data.
Images and direct video files are fetched over HTTPS from pbs.twimg.com and video.twimg.com. Those requests expose normal network information, such as your IP address and the requested media URL, to the media provider. The extension requests media with credentials omitted. X and its media services apply their own policies. Website and social links only open when you choose to click them; their operators then handle the resulting visit under their own policies. The extension does not automatically connect to the developer’s website.
activeTab and scripting read the current page only after you click the extension. storage keeps a temporary preview in Chrome session storage. downloads saves the ZIP, checks that specific download’s state and reveals its location when you request it. Host permissions are limited to the two X media domains above. debugger is used only to attach to the extension’s own preview tab and call Chrome’s Page.printToPDF command; it is not used to inspect other tabs, monitor traffic or collect browsing history. The debugger connection is detached after PDF generation.
Preview metadata and article content are kept in chrome.storage.session for the current browser session. The extension removes the corresponding session record when its preview tab closes; ending the browser session also clears session storage. Images and the ZIP under construction are held in the preview page’s memory. Downloaded archives remain wherever you saved them until you delete them. Chrome may retain its own download history or cached resources under your browser settings. The developer cannot access or remotely delete your local files.
You choose when to capture a page, which formats to export and whether to include separate media files or embed images in Markdown. Close the preview to stop using it, remove local downloads through your operating system, clear Chrome’s download history if desired, or uninstall the extension. Manually sharing an exported file is an action you control.
If you contact the developer by email, the information you voluntarily send, including your email address and message, is used to respond to your request. Do not include private article content unless it is needed for support and you want to share it. Support communications are separate from the extension’s local processing.
XRoolUP’s use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data accessed by the extension is used only for the article export feature. The developer does not sell it, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or transfer it to unrelated services. No developer or human reviewer receives access to captured articles through the extension. Media providers receive only the requests necessary to fetch the requested media.
If the extension’s data practices change, this policy and the store disclosures will be updated. The effective date above identifies this policy version. This policy covers the XRoolUP extension; separately visited websites have their own policies.

Bir X makalesinde veya uzun gönderide XRoolUP simgesine tıkladığınızda eklenti sayfaya yüklenmiş içeriği, başlığı, yazar adını veya kullanıcı adını, kaynak URL’yi, kod bloklarını, biçimlendirmeyi, görsel adreslerini ve mevcut video adreslerini okur. Seçtiğiniz arşiv başlığı ve dosya biçimleri de işlenir. Makalede yer alan kişisel bilgiler bu içeriğe dahil olabilir. Eklenti genel gezinme geçmişinizi izlemez ve arka planda tarama yapmaz. Şifreleri, kimlik doğrulama çerezlerini, özel mesajları, ödeme bilgilerini veya ilgisiz sekmeleri ayrı bir işlev olarak okumaz.
Bu bilgiler yalnızca seçtiğiniz makaleyi önizlemek ve mevcut medyasıyla birlikte PDF, Markdown veya TXT olarak ZIP içinde dışa aktarmak için kullanılır. Metin, dönüştürme ve ZIP üretimi cihazınızda işlenir. Makale içeriği, kaynak adresleri, gezinme geçmişi veya kullanım analizi geliştiriciye ya da bir arşiv sunucusuna gönderilmez. Reklam, analiz SDK’sı, izleme pikseli, cihaz parmak izi veya veri satışı yoktur.
Görseller ve doğrudan video dosyaları HTTPS üzerinden pbs.twimg.com ve video.twimg.com adreslerinden alınır. Bu isteklerde IP adresiniz ve istenen medya URL’si gibi olağan ağ bilgileri medya sağlayıcısına görünür. Eklenti medya isteklerinde kimlik bilgilerini göndermez. X ve medya hizmetleri kendi politikalarını uygular. Web sitesi ve sosyal medya bağlantıları yalnızca tıkladığınızda açılır; ziyaret ettiğiniz sitenin politikası geçerlidir. Eklenti geliştiricinin sitesine otomatik bağlanmaz.

Önizleme sekmesi kapandığında eklenti ilgili oturum kaydını siler; tarayıcı oturumu sona erdiğinde oturum belleği de temizlenir. Görseller ve hazırlanmakta olan ZIP, önizleme sayfasının belleğinde bulunur. İndirilen arşivler siz silene kadar seçtiğiniz konumda kalır. Chrome kendi indirme geçmişini veya önbelleğini tarayıcı ayarlarınıza göre saklayabilir. Geliştirici yerel dosyalarınıza erişemez veya bunları uzaktan silemez.
Sayfanın ne zaman alınacağına, hangi biçimlerin kullanılacağına, medya dosyalarının eklenmesine ve görsellerin Markdown içine gömülmesine siz karar verirsiniz. Önizlemeyi kapatabilir, indirdiğiniz dosyaları işletim sisteminden silebilir, isterseniz Chrome indirme geçmişini temizleyebilir veya eklentiyi kaldırabilirsiniz. Dışa aktardığınız dosyayı başka biriyle paylaşmanız sizin kontrolünüzdeki bir işlemdir.
Geliştiriciye e-posta gönderirseniz gönüllü olarak paylaştığınız e-posta adresi ve mesaj gibi bilgiler talebinize yanıt vermek için kullanılır. Destek için gerekli olmadıkça ve paylaşmak istemedikçe özel makale içeriklerini göndermeyin. Destek yazışmaları eklentinin cihazınızdaki işlemesinden ayrıdır.
XRoolUP’ın kullanıcı verisi kullanımı, Sınırlı Kullanım şartları dahil Chrome Web Store Kullanıcı Verisi Politikası’na uygundur. Eklentinin eriştiği veriler yalnızca makale dışa aktarma işlevi için kullanılır. Geliştirici bunları satmaz, reklam veya kredi kararları için kullanmaz, ilgisiz hizmetlere aktarmaz. Eklenti üzerinden geliştiriciye veya insan incelemecilere makalelerinize erişim verilmez. Medya sağlayıcıları yalnızca istenen medyayı almak için gereken istekleri alır.
Veri işleme biçimi değişirse bu politika ve mağaza beyanları güncellenir. Yukarıdaki yürürlük tarihi politika sürümünü belirtir. Bu politika XRoolUP eklentisini kapsar; ayrıca ziyaret edilen sitelerin kendi politikaları vardır.
